About Linda Cave
Teaching
Linda Cave is an ex-school teacher with 27 years experience in the class room as an Accounting teacher.
She graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1977 with a degree in Education and continued her studies through CEFT, where she received a distinction in Accounting.
Linda's career
In 2005 she changed direction and after completing her assessor’s course, she started training on a freelance basis in the corporate world. Linda joined the Study Skills for Schools programme in 2010, where she worked alongside and as part of Mike Macfarlane’s team.
Teaching again at schools
Linda is passionate about being in the class room, always ensuring that her learners understand what is being discussed and can go forward and apply what they have learnt.
About Laetitia Dodd
Laetitia joined the Study Skills team at the beginning of 2015. Through her ability to relate to the learners and explain the content in a way that is easy to understand, she has also trained at schools for children with special needs. With more than 20 years’ experience in Human Resources and its related disciplines, Laetitia now focuses her energy on providing opportunities for personal growth at various life stages: Pre-schoolers attend her music classes on a weekly basis, where their creativity and self-confidence are nurtured through incorporating music, movement, drama and art. She also presents training courses in the corporate environment, which include Emotional Intelligence, Diversity and Transformation. |

About Barry van Rensburg
Barry has been an enthusiastic facilitator of study skills for the past 5 years. He loves children and is a born teacher. He wore many hats over the past years, all in die field of communication. He started off as a minister of religion, then joined the SABC (TV) as producer/director of (amongst others) children's programs. He then became a successful playwright and is still writing and producing plays for the stage. He also is a qualified life coach and specialises in relationship coaching. As facilitator of soft skills he presented a variety of communication workshops for many years. Barry is the proud grandfather of 6 grandchildren. What he finds most gratifying is helping children of all ages grow to their fullest potential. |

About Talana Abrahamse
Talana has worked with many training programs
and companies where she gained valuable experience in facilitating.
She has been exposed to all kinds of learning environments, from
school pupils to corporate businesses. Talana started training
with Study Skills for Life as a facilitator in 2009. She has a
passion for equipping learners for the future and broadening their
horizons as well as stretching their own individual life goals. |
